CARES funds boost aid for ACC students

Students enrolled at Alvin Community College are learning some new, unplanned lessons in their post-secondary education. Since 1948 when the college was established as Alvin Junior College, students and taxpayers in the area have supported the college through taxes, tuition and fees. Now, ACC finds itself in a reverse role assisting students and their families with funds as they struggle through the novel coronavirus pandemic.
