April Pools Day stresses water safety

Katy Aquatics and Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital will host "April Pools Day" on Saturday, April 7, to teach families about water safety, raise awareness of water hazards and prevent drownings.
The free family event is scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon at the east tower of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, 23900 Katy Freeway, and will feature water safety demonstrations, informational booths, games, giveaways and tours of Life Flight.
