Apple started selling its HomePod smart speaker in February, and the initial reviews were mixed. Those who got their hands on an early model loved the sound, didn't care much for Siri's lack of smarts and bristled at the fact that only Apple Music works with the HomePod's voice controls.But after spending a few weeks with a review HomePod of my own, I think those early critics were missing the point.
