1 dead, 1 hospitalized after crash in Katy area

State troopers identified the fatal crash victim as a 59-year-old Nevada resident. The passenger in his truck, an unidentified 26-year-old woman, was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center where DPS officials said she was listed in stable condition.
