Unscrupulous fundraising for Maui relief under heavy scrutiny

Citing the immediacy of fundraising for Maui relief efforts, House Speaker Scott Saiki asked Gov. Josh Green on Monday to issue an emergency proclamation “to prohibit and criminalize fundraising under falsepretenses.”
