Schatz, Gabbard oppose repeal of net neutrality

U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz and U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard have spoken out against plans by theFederal Communications Commission to dismantle net neutrality.
FCC Chairman Ajit Pai put forward a plan Tuesday to repeal net neutrality rules put in place by the Obama administration, which prohibited high-speed internet serviceproviders from blocking or slowing down the delivery of websites, or charging extra fees for the best quality of services for subscribers. The FCC votes on net neutrality next month.
