New laws address human trafficking, domestic violence

Gov. Josh Green has enacted two laws tightening Hawaii’s response to human trafficking and domestic violence, including a new mandate that the lodging industry train its workforce to spot exploitation, in a move lawmakers say will better protect survivors and speed accountability for offenders.
