Maui flight nose-dived within 800 feet of ocean

In December, about a minute after a United Airlines flight departed from Kahului Airport on Maui, the plane, a Boeing 777-200, entered a steep dive and came within 775 feet of the surface of the Pacific Ocean, according to flight data.
