HPD officers cleared in using deadly force in Makaha clash

Prosecuting Attorney Steve Alm on Tuesday said two HonoluluPolice Department officers were justified in the fatal shooting in 2025 of a man who refused to surrender after ramming their unmarked police car until it exploded into flames in Makaha.
