Hawaii County weighs ‘next steps’ for collapsed Hilo pedestrian bridge

Hawaii County is using emergency procurement procedures to hire a structural engineer to analyze the foot bridge between Waiakea Peninsula and Moku‘ola (Coconut Island), according to Parks and Recreation Director Clayton Honma.
