Hawaii County again defers bill aiming to simplify vacation rental rules

Amid ongoing efforts to refine regulation of vacation rentals on Hawaii island, the County Council’s Policy Committee on Planning, Land Use and Economic Development again deferred taking action on a bill on the matter this week.
