Court clears path for Ireland case lawsuit

The Hawaii Supreme Court filed an opinion Thursday that found the Schweitzer brothers, whose convictions were overturned by the Circuit Court in the infamous 1991 murder and rape of Dana Ireland, will no longer have to seeka declaration of “actualinnocence” in order topursue their wrongful-­conviction compensation case.
