Truck catches fire on U.S. 27 in west Miami-Dade County

A truck caught fire Wednesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 27 in Miami-Dade County.Sky 10 was above the scene at about 2:40 p.m. as heavy smoke and flames billowed from the truck that was parked on the side of the northbound lanes at Krome Avenue.Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said no injuries were reported.A portion of U.S. 27 was closed as firefighters doused the flames with water.Follow Local 10 News on Twitter @WPLGLocal10
