Taxiway repairs begin after Dynamic Airways plane fire

Work began Monday to repair a portion of a taxiway that was damaged in last week's fire aboard a Dynamic Airways plane at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.Broward County Aviation Department spokesman Greg Meyer said 3 inches of asphalt were removed Monday in two areas totaling 11,700 square feet.Meyer said the damaged areas were equivalent to about the size of four tennis courts.Repairs are expected to be completed Tuesday and the taxiway is scheduled to reopen by Wednesday.Accord
