Perdue recalls chicken nuggets after possible plastic contamination

MIAMI (WSVN) --- Perdue Foods is recalling nearly 4,530 pounds of chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with plastic materials. Consumers complained that small, solid, clear plastic were found inside 8-oz. boxed packages containing approximately 18 pieces of “Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets” The packaged nuggets were sold in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas.
