Pedestrian struck, killed in hit-and-run on Quail Roost Drive

A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash in southwest Miami-Dade County.The Florida Highway Patrol said a person was struck by a car and killed on Quail Roost Drive near Southwest 149th Avenue."I came out this morning and there was a body just laying on the road there," Carlos Rosaly, who lives in the area, told Local 10 News. "But (there were) no cars, nothing."Troopers said the driver fled the scene.Eastbound and westbound lanes were closed for hours while troop
