Palm Beach County student diagnosed with whooping cough

WELLINGTON, Fla. (AP) — A high school student in Palm Beach County has been diagnosed with whooping cough. Health department spokesman Tim O'Connor says the Palm Beach Central High student has been asked to stay home after his diagnosis on Thursday. He's expected to make a full recovery.
