One dead, two airlifted to hospital in Hialeah wrong-lane crash

A collision between a pickup truck and a semi-truck left one dead and two injured Monday afternoon in Hialeah. Around 1:30 p.m., a pickup truck driving south on East Eighth Avenue, near Sixth Street, lost control and slammed into a semi-truck heading north, said Hialeah Fire Rescue Capt.
