Old battery-powered SunPass transponders will stop working Dec. 31

MIAMI (WSVN) -- SunPass customers who currently own battery-operated transponders have until the end of the year to replace them before they become out-of-date. Customers have until Thursday to take advantage of the Florida's Turnpike Enterprise Tag Swap Program before the obsolete transponders stop working on Dec. 31.
