Man falls on tracks at Overtown Metrorail station

The southbound Metrorail was shut down in Miami Friday afternoon after a man fell on the tracks.Miami-Dade Transit officials said the man fell on the tracks at the Overtown/Lyric Theater station at 100 NW Sixth St.Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Ignatius Carroll Jr. said it appears that the victim fell off the platform as a train was pulling into the station, and got trapped underneath the train.Carroll said the man was unresponsive when paramedics arrived.
