Man, 74, becomes oldest inmate executed in Florida in state's 10th lethal injection this year

Florida has executed a 74-year-old man, its oldest inmate in over a century, just weeks after executing another man who was previously the oldest person put to death in the state. Dennis Sochor received a lethal injection Tuesday evening for the 1982 killing of a woman hours after he met her at a New Year’s Eve party. Sochor was just a week older than Dusty Ray Spencer, who was executed June 25. Florida is also set to execute its first octogenarian July 28. Florida has now carried out 10 e
