LA-bound flight out of MIA diverted to Texas after mechanical issue

The day before Christmas Eve turned into a nightmare for passengers on board a flight headed to Los Angeles from the Miami International Airport after a mechanical issue caused the aircraft to make an emergency landing in Texas.
