Gloria Estefan among performers welcoming pope at Madison Square Garden

Songs, prayers and even some history lessons entertained the crowd at Madison Square Garden at a concert staged in the hours before Pope Francis arrived to celebrate Mass, his final official event during this historic visit to New York City.
