Gas leak shuts down SR-112 ramp in Miami Springs

The exit ramp from State Road 112 to Northwest 36th Street in Miami Springs was shut down during rush hour Monday because of a gas leak.Miami-Dade and Miami Springs police urged drivers to avoid the area as crews worked to clean up the leak.Sky 10 was above the scene just after 5 p.m. as traffic backed up in the area.The cause of the leak was not immediately released.Watch Local 10 News or refresh this page for updates.Follow Local 10 News on Twitter @WPLGLocal10
