Florida city mayor attempts to pay $4,000 ethics fine in pennies

The mayor of Hialeah tried to pay his $4,000 fine from a Ponzi scheme with 28 buckets of pennies, the Miami Herald reports. In July, Mayor Carlos Hernandez was found guilty by the Miami-Dade County ethics commission for "lying" to the community about his involvement in a Ponzi scheme.
