7-foot alligator found roaming South Florida school soccer field

Wildlife officials have captured a 7-foot alligator found roaming the soccer field at a South Florida elementary school.A Broward Sheriff's sergeant said the gator was spotted Friday and was in a place where it would not have easily gotten back to nature on its own.A deputy lassoed the reptile's tile and the sergeant held the gators mouth closed while a wildlife official taped it together.The Sun Sentinel reports a trapper took custody of the alligator, which will be taken elsewhere or euthanize
