2 Fort Lauderdale officers fired, another resigns

Two Fort Lauderdale police officers have been fired and another turned in his resignation following an internal affairs investigation involving perjury, misconduct and falsifying reports.The Sun Sentinel reported Friday that Officer Billy Koepke and Sgt. Michael Florenco will challenge their dismissals. Officer Brian Dodge resigned.The officers were acquitted during an October trial.
