103 names kept off public bear hunt licensee list

Roughly 100 names have been kept off the list of those who have obtained a permit to participate in the state's controversial bear hunt.The Tallahassee Democrat reports 103 were redacted under a state statute that prevents releasing the addresses, phone numbers and other information of police, judges and other public officials along with their spouses and children.The hunt is scheduled to begin Oct. 24 and hunters are allowed to kill up to 320 bears.
