NEW: 2,902 new cases, record hospitalizations across Nevada

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada reports record hospitalizations -- 1,678 people -- and 2,902 new cases, the third-highest mark since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
The Nevada Hospital Association reports that 84 percent of licensed hospital beds in the state are full.
The state reported 23 deaths in the past 24 hours, a day after hitting a record 48 deaths.
