Wildfire erupts in Madera County, mandatory evacuation ordered

The Cascadel Woods neighborhood and surrounding areas were under mandatory evacuation after a fire broke out Friday afternoon in South Fork. One of three suspects was taken into custody Thursday morning, July 28, 2016, after police say three men kicked in a door and robbed a residence while a woman was at home.
