Small plane reported missing near Bakersfield

A single-engine plane out of San Jose's Reid-Hillview Airport went missing Saturday afternoon near Bakersfield.The Piper PA32 disappeared from radar around 4 p.m. about 10 miles south of Bakersfield, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.The Kern County Sheriff's Office says debris from a plane was found on Panama Lane and Buena Vista Rd. It's unknown if it's the same missing plane that the FAA reported earlier.Stay with ABC30 as more information becomes available.
