Portion of I-5 closed due to mudslide

Authorities closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 5 Sunday night near Castaic, CA due to a mudslide.Around 6:30 p.m. the California Highway Patrol received reports of mud, rocks and debris on the interstate near Fort Tejon Road. Within an hour, officials closed all northbound lanes as crews worked to clear the road and issued a sig-alert.There is no estimate for when the roads will be reopened.Stay with ABC30 for updates.
