Police: Drunken man with sword, handgun arrested

An inebriated man armed with a sword and a loaded handgun was arrested Thursday night in northwest Fresno, police said. Sgt. Ignacio Ruiz said officers were called to the 300 block of West Pinedale Avenue about 7:30 p.m. and detained Israel Resendiz, who was on felony probation.
