Man rescued after driving through golf course, into pond

A man was rescued from his car Thursday evening after it plunged into a pond at Copper River Ranch, said Fresno fire Captain Paul Garnier. The car traveled through a metal fence and across the golf course around 8:30 p.m., landing in a water pond that is around 6 to 8 feet deep.
