Fire consumes apartment complex in central Fresno

Fire consumed a central Fresno turn-of-the-century home turned into six apartments, adding to a busy Wednesday for firefighters. It was the fifth structure fire and third working fire of the day for the Fresno Fire Department. Roosevelt Ave., near Palm and Belmont avenues, said Casey Clark, Fresno fire battalion chief.
