Thousands of dollars in scholarships are up for grabs by local middle and high school students, courtesy of the Veterans of Foreign Wars District 9. Interested high school students can compete in the Voice of Democracy Audio Essay competition, where they must write and record a three- to five-minute essay on "My Responsibility to America."
