Fremont: Opening date of Warms Springs station remains a mystery

Although BART officials have indicated since summer the Warm Springs/South Fremont station will open this fall, they still haven't given a date. And while various newspapers have published probable opening dates based on BART sources, agency spokespersons have insisted nothing official has been determined, leaving it a mystery when riders will actually be able to board or depart a BART train at the new station, which lies 5.4 miles south of the first Fremont station.
