West Nile found in mosquitos in Steuben County

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — The Steuben County Health Department collected pools of mosquitos for virus sampling, with one pool testing positive for West Nile.The positive test was found in a pool collected by the health department on June 27, 2024. To date, no human West Nile virus cases have been reported in Stubuen County, according to a report by the health department.
