VAN WERT, Ohio (WANE) -- For a whopping 168th time, the Van Wert County Fair kicked off a weeklong string of events and activities under a sweltering heat Tuesday.Located at the county fairgrounds, the Van Wert County Fair runs from Tuesday until Labor Day.Since its inception in 1855, the fair has grown considerably and tacked on more days multiple times throughout the years.
