Use of deadly force policy changes statewide
INDIANAPOLIS - Starting July 1, a handful of new laws went into effect in Indiana.This includes an update to deadly force policies for law enforcement.For the last 1.5 years, the Law Enforcement Training Board has been working to create a uniform policy for all agencies in the state to follow when it comes to the use of deadly force.The board is made up of more than 20 people, coming from all walks of life.The Indiana General Assembly tasked them with streamlining the policy in 2022. &ldquo
