TSA intercepts firearm at Fort Wayne International Airport

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Transportation Security Administration officers stopped a firearm from making its way onto an airplane at Fort Wayne International Airport on Saturday.According to a release from the TSA, an officer spotted the image of a handgun on an X-ray screen during routine screening of carry-on luggage. Officials alerted Fort Wayne Airport Public Safety, which responded to the checkpoint and confiscated the loaded weapon.It was the third firearm detected at the Fort Wayne Airpor
