Tornado potential, strong storms this afternoon

It’s an active weather day for the entire region. Rain will continue to fall throughout the day, with the strongest storms now through 6pm.
The biggest threats for the day are high wind and localized flooding, especially in those low-lying areas and near rivers and streams. However, the potential for isolated tornadoes exists, too.
