Sunshine and lower humidity return today

The humidity, heavy rainfall, and hot temperatures will take a short break. We will see some storms to end the weekend and by the middle of next week, the intense heat that's been plaguing the west makes an extended visit to our area with highs in the 90s.
It will be a mild morning with more sun than clouds and temperatures only climbing into the middle 70s by noon.
