Statewide project to provide internet access to more than 6K homes in northwest Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WANE) -- More than 6,000 households in northwest Ohio will be receiving "affordable, high-speed internet access" through a statewide initiative, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced Wednesday.As part of the second round of the Ohio Residential Broadband Expansion Grant, two internet service providers -- Time Warner Cable Midwest and Brightspeed -- will receive $94.5 million for six projects across 23 counties.More than $17 million of that funding will provide internet access to 6,053
