Showers through part of the afternoon

Showers will be scattered around the area through the late afternoon. But end by early this evening. It will stay humid through tonight and Friday before we get a significant break in humidity and temperatures.
Scattered rain will end well before the fireworksYou may have to dodge a few isolated storms, but that threat will end late in the afternoon and early evening. Otherwise, it will be hot and humid much like we've been experiencing.
