Race through Africa and Australia in the first Run Wild 5K

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Friday, a new first-of-its-kind event took place at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.The new Fort4Fitness Run Wild 5K kicked off, starting outside the zoo, then taking racers inside through parts of Africa, Central Zoo and Australia.This time, along with some human spectators, they even had animals along the route helping to cheer the runners on.Over 2500 runners came out to the event.There used to be a race through Franke Park several decades ago, but it didn’
