(CBS NEWS) - The cost of freezing eggs is high. It allows a woman to have her eggs extracted, frozen and stored for potential pregnancies. In 2022, nearly 30,000 egg-freezing cycles in the US were performed. That's up from 7,600 in 2015.But the procedure comes with a high price tag. The average cost to freeze eggs is $10,000.
