Police find missing Fort Wayne boy

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne boy with autism who was reported missing Wednesday was found within the day.A Public Safety Alert was sent out early Wednesday afternoon for 11-year-old Elijah Newport. He was missing from the city's near northeast side in the vicinity of Vance Avenue west of Crescent.Just before 4 p.m., dispatchers confirmed to WANE 15 that police found the boy. No details on his condition were shared.
