Pickup hits utility pole in Fort Wayne, driver killed

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A man is dead following a crash early Sunday morning.It happened in the 5200 block of St. Joe Road just before 2 a.m.According to a press release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers responded to the area on reports of a crashed vehicle. When officers arrived, they found that a pickup truck had left the road and crashed into a utility pole. The truck was driven by an adult male who was the only occupant.
