One person dies after head-on crash

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A head-on crash on U.S. 33 northwest of Churubusco sent five people to the hospital Sunday evening. One person has since died.
Emergency crews were called shortly before 8 p.m. to U.S. 33 near County Line Road, near the Noble and Whitley County line.
Officials said a car and pickup truck collided head-on in a curve in the road. Investigators do not know why the vehicles collided.
